Walk down any supermarket aisle and you'll see bold claims — alkaline, oxygenated, structured, energised. Most are meaningless. Here's what the science actually says.

Myth 1: Alkaline water cures disease

Your stomach acid (pH 1.5–3.5) neutralises alkaline water within seconds of drinking it. There is no peer-reviewed evidence that alkaline water meaningfully changes blood pH or cures any disease. Your kidneys regulate blood pH precisely.

Myth 2: Distilled water is the purest and best

Distilled water has zero TDS — it's pure H₂O with no minerals. Long-term exclusive consumption of distilled water is associated with mineral deficiencies. Optimal drinking water has TDS between 100–300 mg/L.

What actually matters

  • TDS between 100–300 mg/L (sweet spot for taste and mineral content)
  • pH between 7.0–8.0
  • Zero coliforms and E. coli
  • Nitrates below 50 mg/L
  • Certified by PSQCA or equivalent body

What Aabdar water is

No fancy claims. TDS: 120–150 mg/L. pH: 7.2–7.8. PSQCA certified. Bottled within 24 hours of delivery. That's it.
